Sometimes it's the littlest things....
I found this bronze hammered vase, yes while thrifting, last week for $3.99. The "3" was partially wiped off and I tried to get it for 99 cents lololol - but no go.
It's one of my most favourite finds. Ever.
It's only about 5.5" tall and the opening is about as wide as my palm but it's just the most perfect solid little vase. It's not that cheap tin stuff that easily bends either. Well worth my $3.99. And by now you all know I have a thing for gold - it needed just a bit of bronze polish to bring it back to it's original shine.
I love it so much I'm even going to put REAL flowers in it.

It's absolutely adorable!!!! Loving your style. ;)
I've pretty much decided that should we ever meet, we're going thrifting.
love that! i had lamps with bases that are similar, except in a pewter / silver. good find!
Gorgeous!
And oh my goodness, I just realized that I'm going to be in TO in the late summer, we should go thrifting together! =)
So pretty! At definitely the right price, even as "high" as $3.99!
i like it! My best find ever was on craigslist...a solid walnut mid century set! Long dresser with a mirror, a gentleman's dresser (upright with nice wide drawers), a nightstand that is a little more than 2 feet across, and a smaller 3 drawer dresser...for $75.00! The woman had it posted for $50, and told me that someone was coming by to look at in 2 days and she would call me if it fell thru. I told her I could be there that night, with a truck and would give her $75 and she said ok. I always try to lower the price, but this was such a steal at $75, I raised the price to get it lol! There are a few scratches here and there, nothing major, the drawers are tongue and groove and slide easily. The set is VERY heavy and solid and I have had more compliments on it than I can count!
Don't you just LOVE amazing finds!
aw that's really cute!
I love it!
