See that pillow. It's made of doilies. Yes,
doilies. Most people can find a huge stack of doilies at their parent's or grandparents house. And if not they cost anywhere from 0.49-0.99 each at the thrift store.

If I weren't
going to India and, you know, and still had a couch to put the pillow on, I'd totally be making one this weekend. Heck, I might take some doilies to India and make a few while I'm there. You know, to spruce up whatever cheap sofa I'll have while I'm there.

ReplyDeletegolly people are creative.
ReplyDeletevery cute little pillow.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! My parents have doilies around their home and I always wondered what could be done with them instead of just laying out on a table. I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. This idea inspires me to think of new window treatments. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.
ReplyDeleteWho knew doilies could look so... cool. Especially on that pink eames chair.
ReplyDeleteNew to your blog and lovin' it!
