Small Black Kitchen
As promised - some pictures of my newly painted small black kitchen.

I really love it. Makes the walls feel taller and adds just the right amount of interest to my small space. If you're thinking of adding some black to your kitchen go for it!

@Jason - LMAO! I asked if I could paint...she said yes....so I painted :) My landlords actually been in my apartment and seen the hall - she thought it looked cool! Regardless of if you paint your unit or not when you move they repaint the entire place...so I don't feel bad. If there's issue with the black paint I have no problem priming it for them ;) The wallpaper will peels off so that shouldn't be an issue. Ya, I'm a bold one, eh? :) You'd think I own the place...
ReplyDeleteOh I love it. I don't have any black in my apartment but my bedroom walls are a deep chocolate brown and I love them. I want to eat them every time I wake up and the light pours in on them. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI love it! It gives dimension to the space. I want to paint one wall black but I'm still deciding in which room. I think the room needs to get a lot of natural light (like your kitchen) to balance everything out and make the black pop instead of making it look depressing. I also like how it makes the colour of your wreath pop in the background.
