While at The Ex I did something I've wanted to do for a while.
I tried deep fried oreos.
Don't judge me. They were pretty yummy and the opportunity only comes around once a year.
Better that than the deep fried butter*.
*Which I totally admit I wanted to try but the line was too long. Yes. The line for deep fried butter was extremely long.
Any of you ever try deep fried oreos? Or, dare I ask, deep fried butter?
oh my god. im on a diet. i want to devour 50000 of these.
ReplyDelete@sweet nothings - yeah, i hear ya. this might have crossed the line a bit (but so totally worth it).... totally starting back at the gym this week.... :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been three long years, but I have indeed sampled the goodness:

ReplyDeletegirl we got some stuff like that here in dallas at the texas state fair. i have not tried any. we have fried salad this year...fried frito pie..they just be making up shit.
ReplyDeleteOMG those look so good! Why didn't you offer to overnight one to me? ;)
ReplyDeleteI will try one of those someday.
But I will NOT try deep fried butter. Gross!
OOPS. I can't believe I linked to the wrong post on my own blog! XD
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try those!! And deep fried butter too - no judgment here, I'm on your side ;)
ReplyDeleteThey make these at a bbq place here. They look and sound gross but they are delish. I have barred myself from eating there again b/c they are too tempting.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I had my first taste of one in NYC about two weeks ago and they were certainly interesting, I was a little bummed they lost their crunch when deep fried, our were served with mint chip ice cream and a SHOT glass of chocolate milk, YUM! *Amy
ReplyDeleteThose oreos look much better than the deep fried Moon Pie I tried once. I clicked on the link about the deep fried butter and my favorite part is when CNE general manager David Bednar says, “It’s num num."
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, deep fried butter sounds...gross but I'm sure it's good. I am intrigued by deep fried Oreos, how much different does it taste than traditional Oreos?
